Grid Power

What is it?

Grid Connect Solar is designed for areas where mains electricity is already connected from your local power provider ie Horizon Power.

How it works

Solar panels convert sunlight into electricty via an inverter to produce a free non-polluting energy all year round.

 

 

Money back

There are several ways for you to receive money back from your Grid Connect Solar system:

  • Solar credits and Renewable Energy Credits (RECS) are available upon completion of your system.
  • A Renewable Energy Buyback Scheme (REBS) with your local power provider ie Horizon power for excess power produced greater than your demand

Design

Designing your system can be customised to suit any request, ie. available roof space, power requirements, budget.  This stage is important so the system can meet all performance expectations.

Solar Panel

Panels

KES install only quality equipment in our systems. The solar panels are built to stand the harsh environment and come with a 25 year limited performance warranty from Sharp.

invertor

Inverters

The inverter turns DC power produced by the panels into AC mains electricity that is suitable for use throughout the building. These inverters are amongst the highest quality on the market and come with a limited 5 year warranty.

Remote Monitoring

The system can be viewed via a remote display (optional). This may be placed where convenient within the building to monitor energy produced and also greenhouse gas emissions saved. Data logging systems (optional) are available to monitor the system remotely via the internet.

Framing

Our framing system which the solar panels are mounted on are made from aluminium and are cyclone rated for local conditions.

Lightning Protection

Lightening surge protection is installed on all systems to protect components.
